Loud Howard is an engineer for Path-E-Tech and is a minor character in the strip, but he was a regular on the TV series (where his loudness is actually noticable and more humorous, given the fact that the TV series has an audio element as well). He is extremely loud and has thrown people backwards with his loudness. When he sneezes, it is highly advisable to take cover, as the resulting blast has blown the flesh off of the Marketing folks. Loud Howard lives in a relatively nice house that borders a railway track and an airport. This may explain why he talks so loud. He appears in the comic strips from 21 April 1995 [4], 17 March 2006, [5], and again by popular request on 11 October 2006 [6].
