The Iowa Corn Treaty of 1837 was a document that possibly regulated corn. The only known bylaws it contained regarded the murder of someone with an ear of corn; it was only permissible if the victim was a witch or owned a poodle.

The Corn Treaty was part of Dogbert and The Garbageman's defensive argument during Dilbert's trial after he accidentally murdered an executive with an ear of corn.
